TOLEDO- Anna Mae "Ann" Musgrave, age 82, of Toledo, died Thursday, December 7, 2006 at the Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center due to a short illness. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 11, 2006 at 11:30 AM at the Christ United Methodist Church Worship Center in Toledo with Pastor Mary Schnepf, officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Toledo. Visitation will be on Sunday, December 10 from 4 to 7 PM at the Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama.
Ann was born on March 2, 1924 in Iowa City, the daughter of Walter and Marie (McCarthy) Linnell. She was the sixth born of thirteen children. Ann married Donald G. Musgrave Sr. on March 15, 1947 in North Liberty, Iowa. She was a very active member of Christ United Methodist Church, and served in many ways. She was loved by many and greatly enjoyed and cared for many children. Ann liked to read, work the crosswords, eat out with friends, and decorate. She also loved bird watching.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald Sr. in 1979, her youngest son Tim in 2000, and all of her siblings.
Survivors include three sons, Donald (Karen) Musgrave Jr. of Toledo, Mike (Terri) Musgrave of Omaha, Nebraska, and Galen (Michelle) Musgrave of Toledo; eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
