TOLEDO-Barbara Joan (Bacon) Croskrey Cline, age 76, a resident of the Davis Center in Bloomfield, Iowa formerly of Toledo, died Saturday, April 5, 2008 at the center following a short illness. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at 10:00 AM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama with Chris Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, April 7, 2008 from 5-8 PM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama.
Barbara Joan Cline was born on December 14, 1931, in rural Garwin, Iowa, the daughter of Kenneth and Emma (Skala) Bacon.
She graduated from Toledo High School in 1950 and from Logan Chiropractic College in 1954.
Barbara married Donald Croskrey in 1953 in Toledo and in 1975 married Pat Cline. Both marriages ended in divorce. Barbara was a homemaker.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and her ex-husband, Donald in 1995.
Survivors include her six children, Craig (Jan) Croskrey of Cedar Rapids, Kim (Celeste) Croskrey of Blakesburg, Susan Sloan of Branson, MO, Sandi (Chris) Stewart of Republic, MO, Sharron (Chris) Messer of Ottumwa, and Deanna (Chris) Hamon of Kirbyville, MO; twelve grandchildren; and one brother, Roger (Sue) Bacon of Toledo.
Memorials may be directed to Christ United Methodist Church in Toledo.
