TAMA-Beverly Gwendolyn Crawford, age 67, of Tama, died Sunday, October 4, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Friday, October 9, 2009 starting at 6:00 PM at the Tama VFW. Private interment will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Toledo.
Beverly was born on March 5, 1942, in Hanley Falls, MN, the daughter of Elmer and Gwenavere (Nissen) Papesh.
She married Darrell Crawford. Beverly enjoyed watching movies and spending time with her family and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Darrell Crawford on March 14, 2001; and two brothers, Robert and Bill Papesh.
Survivors include one daughter, Deedee (Mitch) Fricke of Tama; one son, Bob (Cynthia Monfort) Crawford of Tama; one grandson, Nicholas (Xera) Fricke; and a great-grandson, Baby Jaxon on the way; two brothers, Barry (Terri Lynn) Papesh of Tama and Brian (Janice) Papesh of Conifer, CO; and one sister, Barb (Ken) Coye of Newton.
A memorial fund has been established.
