TAMA- Beverly A. Gebhardt, age 76, a resident of Sunny Hill Care Center in Tama, died Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at the care center following a lengthy illness. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2007 from 5 to 7 PM at the Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama. Private family interment will be at a later date.
Beverly was born on September 30, 1930 in Tama, the daughter of Edward and Lydia (Hopkins) See. She provided childcare in her home for a number of years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and one sister.
Survivors include one son, Lester Gebhardt of Toledo; one daughter, Betty Ann (Gene) Lacina of Tama; three grandchildren Joann (Don) Horne, Shane (Amanda) Lacina, and Cassandra Lacina; three great-grandchildren Dustin, Donovan, and Dallas. She is also survived by her niece Heather Finely of North Carolina, and nephew B.J. Pirie of Missouri, who resided with her, as well as several other nieces and nephews.
A memorial fund has been established.
