Beverly Ann Naniot, 71, of Montour passed away, Friday, August 29, 2014 at the Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center. A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery in Tama.


Beverly was born on February 15, 1943, in Green Bay, WI, the daughter of Goldie J. and Eleanor (Rickle) Balza. She attended Preble High School in Green Bay, WI.
On June 17, 1959, Beverly married William "Wimpy" Naniot in Green Bay, WI. After her children were raised, she worked for Hy-Vee in Sioux City, IA and Tama Pack. Beverly was involved in the Widow's Club, Alzheimer's Support Group, and Animal Rights and Welfare Organizations. She enjoyed fishing, camping, and bluegrass music. Beverly was also skilled as a mechanic.
Survivors include her significant other, Gary Glattfelder of Tama; two daughters, Gail (Nick) Plavets of Noblesville, IN and Llana Bennett of Montour; nine grandchildren, Dustin, Louis, Ben and Zack Naniot, Will and Paul Plavets, Emily and David Bennett, and Erin (Josh) Wiebensohn; 6 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Larry (Janet) Balza of Green Bay, WI.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Wimpy in 2006; and a son, Eugene Naniot.
