Bobby Clifford Mason, 84, of Montour, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at his home under the care of Iowa River Hospice and his loving family. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Pilgrim Heights, 3005 E Ave, Montour with Pastor Randy Mason officiating. Interment will follow at Turner Cemetery in rural Garwin. Visitation will be held Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 10-11 AM prior to the service at Pilgrim Heights.

Bobby was born on August 25, 1939, in Marshalltown, Iowa, the son of Clifford and Carrie (Hofer) Mason.

He attended Whiskey Bottom one room country school and graduated from Montour High School in 1957. Bobby then attended Iowa State Teachers College in Cedar Falls, Iowa.

On May 20, 1961, he was united in marriage to Mildred Mason in Montour, Iowa. Bobby farmed and sold Farm Bureau Insurance. He had previously worked for Hinegardner's at North Star Fish Hatchery in Montour and Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Bobby's faith and family were the most important things in his life.

Survivors include wife of sixty-three years, Mildred of Montour; two children, Pamela of Des Moines and Randy (Maureen) Mason of Pella; three grandchildren, Matthew (Falisha) Lovell, Melissa (Tyler) Buckner and Michael Mason; four great-grandchildren, Lucas Lovell, Josie Mason, Eli Buckner and Skyla Buckner; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
