TOLEDO-Brandon Lee Anderson, age 27, of Toledo, died Sunday, September 28, 2008 in an automobile accident near Chelsea. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, October 2, 2008 at 10:30 AM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama with Pastor Ron Arends officiating. Interment will follow at Haven Cemetery in rural Tama. Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 1, 2008 from 3-8 PM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama.
Brandon was born on January 20, 1981, in Marshalltown, Iowa, the son of Sherry (Dvorak) Anderson and Tom Anderson.
He graduated from South Tama High School in 1999. He was currently attending Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo for automotive electronics and was also working as a mechanic at Americ in Belle Plaine as well as farming. Brandon loved farming with his grandpa, hunting, 4-wheeling and spending time with his family and friends. Brandon's sharp wit, personality, hard work ethic, and smile touched the lives of everyone he knew.
Survivors include his mother, Sherry Anderson of Toledo; his father, Tom Anderson of Ohio; one sister, Tasha (Kyle) Dehmlow of Cedar Falls; his grandparents, Norman Dvorak of Chelsea; Janice (Bernard) Kunc of Lawrence, KS, Marilyn Anderson of Grinnell; aunts and uncles, Deb (Doug) Dolezal of Toledo, Tom (Debbie) Dvorak of Chelsea, Kellie (Scott) Yuska of Urbandale; along with other family members.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Anderson.
A memorial fund has been established.
