Brian Dale Neitzel, 54, of Tama, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2024 at home. Funeral Services will be held Monday, June 24, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama with Pastor Mike Hargrave officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Tama. Visitation will be held Monday, June 24, 2024 from 9:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.

Brian was born on April 13, 1970, in Marshalltown, Iowa, the son of David and Judy (Mull) Neitzel.

Brian was employed at Swift in Marshalltown for six years and then Mid Iowa Workshop in Marshalltown. For the past several years he has worked for CIRSI.

Brian loved animals and especially his dog, Hercules. He enjoyed painting various projects on the farm and riding his 4-wheeler. Brian also liked to eat out.

Survivors include his father, David Neitzel of Tama; sister-in-law, Lara of Conway, AR; nephew, Trevor Neitzel; niece Chloe Neitzel; and several aunts and uncles.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents; his mother, Judy in 1986; and brother, Doug Neitzel in 2004.
