Bukuru Pacific, 25, of Tama, passed away Friday, August 11, 2023 in Ottumwa, Iowa. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Tama. Visitation will be held September 2, 2023 from 12:00 PM until the time of service at the funeral home. The service will be live streamed on Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home and Cremation Services Facebook page.

Pacific was born on February 21, 1998, in Tanzania, Africa, the son of Erick Minani and Cimpaye Helena.

He graduated from Rock Island High School and attended two years of college. Pacific enjoyed making music.

Survivors include his parents, Erick Minani and Cimpaye Helena of Tama; twin brother, Butoyi Patience; two other brothers, Sengiyumva Thiery and Ishimwe Gentil; one sister, Lovely Anita all of Tama; and his grandparents in Africa.
