TAMA-Carol Lee Anderson, 87, of Tama, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2024 at Sunny Hill Care Center in Tama. A Family Graveside Service will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery in Tama.

Carol was born on December 25, 1936, in Marshalltown, Iowa, the daughter of Frederick and Carrie (Rutledge) Buckley. She worked as a CNA at Grandview Acres in Toledo. On October 16, 1953, she was united in marriage to Everett Anderson in Tama, Iowa. Carol enjoyed sitting and having coffee with her sisters and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Tom (Brenda) Anderson of Tama, Gene (Linda) Anderson of Clutier, Sandy Anderson of Belle Plaine, Brenda (Tim) Casillas of Waterloo, Sheila (Steve) Hart of Oelwein, Fred Anderson of Waterloo and Tracy (Roger) Reed of Laurel; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also, her brothers, David (Carolyn) Buckley of North Carolina and Jimmy (Robin) Buckley of Tama; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Everett; two sons, Jimmy Jay and Butch Anderson; two brothers Alvie Buckley and Fred Buckley; three sisters, Barb Shortsfinger, Mary Gonzales and Shirley Kingery; and grandsons, Jason Hallett and Robert Anderson.
