Chaille Simone Morgan, 27, of Tama, passed away Monday, March 28, 2022 at her home. A Traditional Wake will be held Tuesday evening, March 29, 2022 at the Fox Clan Ceremonial Building on the Meskwaki Settlement in rural Tama. Traditional Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Morgan Cemetery on the Settlement.

Chaille was born on June 16, 1994, in Grinnell, Iowa, the daughter of Barry Morgan and Sheila Marie Papakee.

She attended South Tama Schools. Chaille enjoyed dancing at pow-wows, doing community fun run/walks, and socializing with everyone. She also liked helping with babysitting, concerts, and traveling.

Survivors include her mother, Sheila Papakee of Tama; stepfather, Marland Sanache of Tama; brothers, Gailey and Nate Morgan, both of Tama; sister, LaRisha Wabaunasee of Oklahoma; and adopted sister, Sadako Youngbear of Tama.

She was preceded in death by her me-do, Rodney Papakee; ko-ko, Ida Mae; and sister, Kaitlyn Morgan.
