TAMA- Claire B. Ferneau, age 62, of rural Tama, died unexpectedly Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at the Grinnell Regional Medical Center. There are no services planned at this time, the body has been cremated. Private family interment will be at a later date. Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama is handling the arrangements.
Claire was born on December 22, 1943 in Marshalltown, the son of Gerald George and Margaret Arlene (Mayo) Ferneau. Claire attended the Career Development Center in Tama for over twenty years. Claire and his identical twin brother were well known in the Tama-Toledo area.
He was preceded in death by his parents Gerald and Arlene Ferneau
Survivors include his older brother Frank of Oden, Arkansas; sister Elaine; and twin brother Claude both of rural Tama. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
