Private family services at the graveside for Connie Zhorne, 82, Kilgore, will be held in Vining, IA. Mrs. Zhorne completed her earthly journey on Friday, August 21, 2020, in Longview.

Connie was born on July 20, 1938, in Marshalltown, IA, to Fred and LaRue Nachazel. She was a legal secretary for the courthouse in Tama, IA and worked for Premiere Management until her retirement. Connie enjoyed being outdoors, especially walking or going fishing. She loved to play the piano and read the Bible. Her family was the source of her strength and spending time with them was when she was happiest.

Left to cherish her memory are her three sons, Jeff Zhorne of California, Scott and wife Rachel of Longview, Texas, and Matt and wife Csilla Zhorne of Melbourne, Florida; and five grandchildren, Sophia, Chloe, and Zachary Zhorne all of California, and Zaden and Zoey Zhorne both of Longview.

Connie was preceded in death by her husband Gene Zhorne, twin brother Monte Nachazel, grandchildren Amelia and Jeremy Zhorne.

In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations be made in her name to the charity of your choice.
