Darryl W. Steveson, 60, of Toledo, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2022, at Unity Point Health in Marshalltown, following a sudden illness. He was cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2022, from 2PM-5PM at the home of Paul Steveson, 1644 270th St., Toledo, IA 52342.

Darryl Wayne Steveson was born February 10, 1962, in Toledo to Richard and Colleen (Konicek) Steveson. He attended South Tama schools and graduating in 1980.

He spent eight years in the U.S. Navy. Darryl got to see a lot of the world by ship. After his service he had various jobs, working the last 27 years at M. Gervich and Sons in Marshalltown.

Darryl is survived by his parents; sister, Valerie (Martin) Kaiser of Toledo; brothers, Barry (Shunda) Steveson of San Antonio, Texas, and Paul (Heidi) Steveson of rural Toledo; a special friend Crystal Naber and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation in Darryl's name.
