David Lee Parizek Jr., 56, of Traer, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at his home in Traer due to natural causes. It was his wish to be cremated and there will be no public services.

David was born on June 27, 1965, in Cedar Rapids, IA, the son of David Lee and Patricia (Vavroch) Parizek Sr.

He graduated from South Tama High School.

David formerly worked for Young's Construction and Darling Rendering Company until his health declined. He liked to hunt and fish and sit around a bonfire. David also enjoyed spending time with family especially taking his cousin, Scott, who is in Premier Estates, on outings.

Survivors include a daughter, Makaylee Parizek (Benny Bitterlie III) of Vining; granddaughter, Mayvis Bitterlie; grandson, Benny Bitterlie IV; mother, Patricia Parizek of Vining; his significant other, Sheri Cizek of Traer; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, David Parizek Sr.
