Delilah Elaine Mauskemo, 37, of Tama, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2023 at UnityPoint-Marshalltown. A Traditional Wake will be held Monday evening, July 31, 2023 at the Glenn Roberts Ceremonial Building on the Meskwaki Settlement in rural Tama. Traditional Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at 2:00 PM at the McIntosh Cemetery on the Settlement.

Delilah was born on October 17, 1985, in Marshalltown, Iowa, the daughter of Alexander Kevin Mauskemo and Marva Roberts.

She graduated from Eldora High School and worked as a cook at Hardee's.

Delilah liked cooking for her family. She enjoyed drawing and puzzles, traveling and going to concerts. She cherished every moment with her daughters, family and friends.

Survivors include her daughters, Sarayna Mauskemo, Jazlynn Marva Papakee and Avianna Demeris Papakee; brother, Derrick Mauskemo; sister, Alexah Marva Mauskemo; grandmother Elizabeth Roberts; her companion, Ryan Papakee; and many aunts, uncles and cousins, all of Tama.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her grandfather, Isaac Roberts and grandmother Marge Mauskemo.
