Donald Eugene Murty, 56, of Tama, passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at UnityPoint Health in Marshalltown. Donald was born on November 4, 1964, in Marshalltown, the son of Joseph and Inez (Cochran) Murty. He graduated from South Tama High School in 1983. Donald enjoyed golfing and bowling. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Donald was a huge Green Bay Packers fan.

Survivors include his brothers, Larry (Jennifer) Murty of Marshalltown and Randy Murty of Kansas City, Kansas; five nieces and nephews, Marnie, Kimberly, Ernest and Zachary Hennings and Abby Murty.

Preceding him in death are his parents; and brother, Joseph Neal Murty.
