Donna L. Speicher, 64, of Garwin, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2020, at home under the care of Iowa River Hospice. A Celebration of Life  will be held  at a future date.

Donna was born on June 21, 1955, in New Hampton, Iowa, the daughter of Don and Merna (Siders) Crapser.

She graduated from Lincoln High School in Des Moines in 1973.

Her first marriage was to Frank Fuches and to this union two children were born, Sean and Ashley. Donna and Frank later divorced. Her second marriage was to Rodney Speicher. He preceded her in death. Donna was currently engaged to Kenny Mayo and they were in the process of planning their wedding. They had been together for eight years.

Donna worked for the Tama County Sheriff's Office as a jailer and retired in 2018. Donna enjoyed knitting, crafting and spending time with her grandchildren. She also liked to travel.

Survivors include her fiancé, Kenny Mayo of Garwin; two children, Sean (Bridget) Fuches of Carlisle, and Ashley Curry of Des Moines; her mother, Merna Crapser of Des Moines; four step-children, Elissia Speicher-Schmidt, Valesta Scheffert, Dylon Speicher, and Derek Speicher and their families; three grandchildren, Chloe Fuches, Anthony Curry, and Alden Curry. Donna will also be missed by Kenny's children and grandchildren, Laura (Clayton) Edwards of Toledo and their daughter, Avery, Danny (Claire) Mayo of Tama and their children, Lily and Griffin; siblings, David Crapser of Waterloo, Debbie (Ken) Pearson of Shingle Spring, CA, Dennis Crapser of Des Moines, and DeAnn (Lex) Oakley of Carlisle; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her father, Don Crapser; and husband, Rodney Speicher.

A memorial fund will be established.
