Obituary

TOLEDO- Dorothy Belle Huseboe, age 80, a resident of Sunny Hill Care Center in Tama and formerly of Toledo, died on Sunday, September 17, 2006 in Sunny Hill Care Center due to complications of Alzheimers Disease. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2006, at 10:30 AM at the Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama with Pastor Jerry Avise-Rouse officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Toledo. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2006 from 5-7 PM at the Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama.
Dorothy Belle Huseboe was born on December 4, 1925, in Killen, Alabama, the daughter of Dolph and Gwendolyn Caulk Faust.
Her family moved to Mississippi where she graduated from Cumberland High School, Clarkston, Mississippi in April of 1943.
On October 26, 1943, she married Frank Wilson in Clarksdale, Mississippi and they moved to Iowa. They were later divorced. On June 23, 1969, she married Aaron M. Huseboe in Ottawa, Illinois.
She operated the Toledo Convalescent Home for many years. Her hobbies included gardening, cooking, and baking.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Cindy Thede; five sisters; and five brothers.
Survivors include her husband, Aaron Huseboe of Tama; two daughters, Stevie (David) Johnson of Lake Havasu City, AZ, and Rosi (Jerry) Sprague of Waterloo; one son Skip (Chris) Wilson of Toledo; one son-in-law, Mike Thede of Toledo; ten grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established.
