Douglas Lyle Graff, 58, of Chelsea and formerly of Tama, passed away Friday, September 28, 2012 at the Iowa River Hospice Home in Marshalltown. A Memorial Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 2, 2012 from 5 – 7 PM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama. Private Interment will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery in rural Tama.
Douglas was born on November 23, 1953, in Marshalltown, Iowa, the son of Lyle and Dorothy (Anderson) Graff.
He graduated from South Tama High School.
Douglas was a self-employed carpenter. He liked woodworking and making his own furniture. He also enjoyed fishing.
He was preceded in death by his father; one brother, Richard Graff.
Survivors include one son, Dana (Christina) Graff of St. Anthony; one daughter, Heather (Jon Keen) Graff of Toledo; five grandchildren, Jaiden, Devyn, Arianna and Aaliyah Graff and Kara McCollister; and his mother, Dorothy Graff of Tama.
A memorial fund has been established.
