Edith Caroline Knoblock, 72, of Tama, passed away Monday, February 24, 2014 at Sunny Hill Care Center in Tama. Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 28, 2014 at 10:30 AM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Toledo. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 27, 2014 from 5-7 PM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home.

Edith was born on March 29, 1941, in Marshalltown, Iowa, the daughter of Harry Glen and Elizabeth Ann (Fish) Knoblock.
She graduated from Gilman High School and Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
Edith was formerly a librarian at the Iowa Juvenile Home in Toledo. She was a member of the Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Church. Edith loved to read and also participated at the Wieting Theatre in various capacities.
Survivors include two brothers, Carl (Sharon) Knoblock of Omaha, NE, and H. Dale (Karol) Knoblock of Waterloo; two nieces and two nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents.
A memorial fund has been established.
