Eva Ruth Bell, 67, of Tama, passed away Monday, November 5, 2012 at Carrington Place of Toledo under the care of Iowa River Hospice. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, November 8, 2012 at 10:30 AM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Tama. Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 7, 2012 from 6-8 PM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home.
Eva was born on September 19, 1945, in Sperry, Iowa, the daughter of Carl Edward and Mildred (McGhghy) Gulich.
On October 10, 1992, she was united in marriage to Roger Bell at the Bethesda Chapel in Toledo. She worked fifteen years at Marshalltown Medical Center in the laundry department. Eva was a member of the Gladbrook American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, making dolls, and puzzle books.
Preceding her in death were her parents; two brothers, Floyd and Elmer (Dottie) Mitchell.
Survivors include her husband, Roger of Tama; her children, Thomas Edward Steele of Toledo, Kristine Bell of Grinnell, and Keith (Tami Willmann) Bell of Mason City; nine grandchildren, Alexis and Haley Hanus, Ashley Steele, Austin and Tyler Bell, Bane Sloss, Morgan Willmann, Logan and Katilynn Hershey; two sisters, Carol Gulick of Neodesha, KS, and Ellie Zuel of Osawatamie, KS; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial fund has been established.
