Frances A. Evans, 95, of Tama passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Sunny Hill Care Center in Tama. A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Frances was born on November 13, 1919 in Cleveland, OH, the daughter of Frank and Helen (Szelminski) Grabowski.
Frances was a buyer for Halle Brothers Department Store in Cleveland and later an office administrator at Reliance Electric in Cleveland. She retired in 1989. Frances moved to Tama in 2002, where she enjoyed spending time with her four grandchildren. She was a people person and enjoyed talking to everyone.
Survivors include one son, Bert (Michelle) Evans of Tama; four grandchildren, Matt, Brad, Abby and Tim Evans; and one great-granddaughter, Rebecca Cole.
Preceding her in death were her parents; three sisters, Mary Wilhelm, Anita Card and Verna Aakeberg; and one brother, Frank Graber.
A memorial fund has been established.
