George Donald Biggs Sr., 64, of Montour, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2020 at Premier Estates of Toledo.  A Private Graveside Service will be held at Maple Hill Cemetery in Montour. Please feel free to leave condolences to the family at www.kruse-phillips.com.

George was born on March 23, 1956, in Davenport, Iowa, the son of Harry and Margaret (Poteete) Biggs.

George served his country in the U.S. Army and then the Army National Guard from 1976 and was honorably discharged in 1988.

On June 28, 1973, he was united in marriage to Susan Blazek in Illinois. George was a machine operator for the Union Pacific Railroad starting in 1976 and retiring in 2015. He loved dogs and motorcycles. George enjoyed woodworking, drawing, pottery, and fishing.

Survivors include his wife of forty-seven years, Susan Biggs; his daughter, Yolanda Stevens; his son, George Biggs Jr.; and two grandchildren, Koby and Brooklyn Nelson.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

A memorial fund will be established.
