Harold Dean Suchanek, 90, of Tama, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at Premier Estates of Toledo. Graveside services will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery in Tama at a future date.

Dean was born on April 4, 1930, in Toledo, Iowa, the son of Frank and Bernice (Crawford) Suchanek.

He graduated from Tama High School in 1948.

Dean was a lifelong farmer. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and an honorary member of the Tama American Legion.

Survivors include a sister, Dorie Valenta of Clutier; niece, Nancy (Matt) Hanken of Plymouth, MN; great nephew, Josh; and great niece Mackenzie.

Preceding him in death were his parents; brother-in-law, Robert Valenta; and cousins

He will be fondly missed by his family and friends.
