Obituary

Jeff Marvin Ebersole, 45, of Tama, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2020 at Hansen Family Hospital-Iowa Falls after bravely fighting Huntington's disease for many years. Public Visitation will be held Thursday, August 20, 2020 from 5-7 PM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama. A Private Family Service will be held at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama with Rev. Jerry McAdoo officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Tama. It is requested that masks be worn and maintain social distancing inside the funeral home.

Jeff was born on December 20, 1974, in Marshalltown, Iowa, the son of Jon and Cara (Doughan) Ebersole.

He graduated from South Tama High School in 1993.

On April 19, 2003, he was united in marriage to Vicki Mull in Tama, Iowa. Prior to his illness, Jeff worked at International Ingredients in Dillon and raised cattle. He liked fishing and hunting. Jeff loved spending time outdoors with his son, Jonathan.

Survivors include his wife, Vicki of Tama; one son, Jonathan at home; his father, Jon Ebersole of Kasson, MN; his father and mother-in-law, Rick and Dorothy Mull of Tama; two brothers, Jerry (Nova) Ebersole of Montour, and Jim (Jackie) Ebersole of Bentonville, AR; sister-in-law, Tammy Tomlinson-Mull of Tama; brother-in-law, Jayson (Billie) Mull of Gladbrook; his uncle, Lawrence (the late Pat) Murty of Tama and their daughters, Janet Berger, Julie Berger, and Karla (Todd) Sebesta; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents; and his mother, Cara Ebersole.
