Jennifer Loren Nicholi, 39, of Tama passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. A Traditional Graveside Service will be held Friday, December 21, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Meskwaki Cemetery on the Meskwaki Settlement with Larry Lasley Sr. as speaker. A Traditional Wake will be held Thursday evening at the Lasley Ceremonial Building on Meskwaki Settlement in rural Tama.

Jennifer was born on August 22, 1979 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Charles Robert Sr. and Maria (Whitebreast) Nicholi. She attended Senn High School in Chicago, IL.  She was previously married to Norwood Roberts.  Jennifer worked at the Meskwaki Casino in the Keno department.  She enjoyed cooking, cleaning, fishing, playing at the casino and listening to music.

Survivors include her daughter, Lizabeth Francine Roberts of Tama; siblings, Christopher Nicholi of Alaska, and Kristine N. (Gregory Sr.) Keahna.; an aunt, Angela Montoya of New Mexico; uncle, Delmar Whitebreast  of Tama; niece, Krystal Diver Mitchell of Tama; three nephews, Steven Diver of Tama, Wilbur L. Keahna of Tama, and Gregory L. Keahna Jr. of Tama; great-nephew, Jairus J. Willie Jr. of New Mexico.

Preceding her in death were her Mother Maria Whitebreast Nicholi; father, Charles Nicholi Sr.; one brother, Charles Robert Nicholi Jr. three aunts, Colleen W. Tahahwah, Fern W. Whitebreast, and Melba Shemayme; four uncles, Sterling Kapayou, Roland Davenport, Steven Bear, and Archie Bear; and a niece, Maria Diver Willie.
