Jerry Dee Boriskey, 78, of Montour, passed away Monday, August 19, 2024 at his home. He was cremated and there will be no public services.

Jerry was born on April 20, 1946, in Montour, Iowa, the son of Lester and Sarah (Wolcott) Boriskey.

Jerry served his country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam.

He married Sue Jones and they later divorced. Jerry married Sylvia Netherton in 1992. He retired from Fisher Controls in Marshalltown.

He loved fishing, hunting and camping and was an avid Green Bay Packer and Iowa Hawkeye fan.

Survivors include his wife, Sylvia of Montour; children, Todd (Angie) Boriskey of Marshalltown, Troy (Kerra) Boriskey of Edgewood and Brandi Boriskey of Marshalltown; step-children, Shawn Christy of Marshalltown, Shane Christy of Marshalltown, Denee (Jerry) Thorn of Knoxville; five grandchildren, Alek Boriskey, Jakob Boriskey, Lilee Boriskey, Kelsi Zietlow and Alex Zietlow.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his siblings, Joe (Darlene) Boriskey, Frank (Ruth) Boriskey, Emily Geiger, Margaret Brezina, Helen Brezina, Dorothy Denbo, Fran White and Carole Dvorak.
