TAMA-Jerry Campbell Stone, 69, of Tama, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2011, at Sunny Hill Care Center in Tama. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 9, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Tama Visitation will be held Saturday, July 9, 2011 from 10 AM until service time at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama.
Jerry was born on November 7, 1941, in Independence, Missouri, the son of Clyde Winfield and Olive (Campbell) Stone.
He graduated from Tama High School in 1959. He previously worked at Ben Franklin, King Tower and had a contracting business in Tama.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Survivors include distant cousins and friends.
