Juanita I. "Tipp" Maddock, 76, of Montour, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at Unity Point Health in Marshalltown. A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Maple Hill Cemetery in Montour with Pastor John Christianson officiating.

Juanita was born on December 26, 1942, in Bremerton, WA, the daughter of Leonard Dale and Louzna T. (Smetzler) Riley.

She graduated from Mossyrock High School in Mossyrock, WA. She then attended Mr. Lee's Beauty School in Tacoma, WA.

Juanita was a stay at home mom. She also worked in hotel housekeeping and cleaned apartments and houses after construction projects were completed. Juanita was a member of Living Faith United Methodist Church in Montour where she was active in Bible studies, Sunday School and UMW. She enjoyed reading, sewing, and crafting.

Survivors include three children, Mike Maddock of Huron, SD, Patrick Maddock of Arlington, TX, and Jodi (Lee) Langevin of Kasota, MN; six grandchildren, Tom, Megan, Kayla, Miya, Alyssa and Lani; four great-grandchildren, Paisley, Kendall, Everlee and Aurora; one sister, Kathryn T. Cheney of Mossyrock, WA; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents; one brother, Mikael Riley; one sister, Dayle McGee; and her longtime companion, Everett Coon.
