Kristin Marie Morrow Sawnor, 32, of Tama, passed away Sunday, February 14, 2016 at Martin Memorial Health Systems North in Stuart, Florida. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, February 22, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Living Faith United Methodist Church in Tama with Pastor Brian Oliver officiating. A Private Interment will be held at a later date. A Memorial Visitation will be held Monday, February 22, 2016 from 10 -11 AM prior to the service at Living Faith United Methodist Church in Tama.
Kristin was born on February 17, 1983, in Mt. Pleasant, MI, the daughter of Randolph and Phyllis (Janssen) Morrow.
She graduated from South Tama County High School in 2001 and Marshalltown Community College in 2003.
On September 24, 2012, she was united in marriage to Jason Sawnor at the Living Faith United Methodist Church in Tama. Kristin was a sales clerk for Marshall's as well as a homemaker. She was a member of Living Faith United Methodist Church in Tama and the South Tama County Music Boosters. Kristin loved to read and sing. Growing up she was in the Campfire Girl's and God's Kid's Puppet group at Living Faith United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Jason of Tama; two sons, Nicholas and Britten both at home; her mother, Phyllis Morrow of Toledo; one sister, Briana Morrow (Matt Roland) of Toledo; two nephews, David Roland and Robert Jaquith; one niece, Jillian Jaquith; two aunts, Pat Wall of Tama and Martha (Bruce) Whitcomb of Colorado; her mother-in-law, Carolyn Marine of Waukesha, WI; her sister-in-law, Leah Sawnor of Pewaukee, WI; her brother-in-law, Dustin Jaquith of Palmyra, WI; her grandmother-in-law, Grace VerVooren of Brookfield, WI; and several cousins.
Preceding her in death were her grandparents; and her father, Randy Morrow.
Memorials may be directed to the family for her sons.
