Landyn Michael Short, age 9, of Toledo, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama with Pastor Kenny Mervin officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Tama. Visitation will be held Saturday, June 23, 2018 from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.

Landyn was born on January 26, 2009 in Marshalltown, Iowa, the son of Josh Todd and Amanda Short.

Landyn just finished 3rd grade at South Tama County Community School District. He liked Pokemon, riding his bike, Hot Wheels, Legos, and his "Man Cave" (fort). Landyn loved spending time with his aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family.

Survivors include his parents, Amanda Short of Toledo and Josh Todd of Tama; two sisters, Allyson and Amilya Todd; half brothers, Jaylan Kajer and Orion Armstrong; half sister, Isabelle Todd; his Mamaw, Tammy Clark of Toledo; his Pawpaw, John Moser of Cincinnati, OH; grandparents, Dale and Alma Todd of Tama; aunts, Heather Glann and Aaron Kvidera; uncles, Kirk Glann and Dusty Kvidera; and many cousins.
