TAMA-Linda Emily Jordan, age 61, of Tama, died Saturday, June 6, 2009 at Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama with Pastor Dewey Grimes officiating. Private interment will be held at a future date. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 9, 2009 from 5-7 PM at the Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama.
Linda was born on October 14, 1947, in Marshalltown, Iowa, the daughter of Henry and Cecilia (Novotny) Sieck.
She married James " Joe" Jordan in Tama. Linda enjoyed knitting, dancing, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her father; and her husband, James "Joe" Jordan in 1993.
Survivors include two daughters, Robin (Lonnie) Lacina of Tama and Ronda Sieck of New Providence; one son, Kenny Joe Jordan; five grandchildren, Gabrielle Chamra, Whitney and Miranda Lacina, Joseph Perkins and Cody Varnum; her mother, Cecilia Sieck of Tama; seven brothers, Robert (Sandra) Sieck of Mobile, AL, Lester (Nancy) Sieck of Toledo, LeRoy (Pat) Sieck of Mobile, AL, Roger (Kathy) Sieck of Toledo, Larry (Shelly) Sieck of Princeton, MO, Ronnie (Lisa Higginbotham) Sieck of Toledo, and Loren (Jean) Sieck of Tama; three sisters, Rebecca (Glen) Cline of Tama, Regina Sieck of Tama, and Loretta (Tom) Ledvina of Elberon; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial fund has been established.
