Linda Lee Steffens, 62, of Elberon, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Compass Memorial Healthcare in Marengo, under the care of Essence of Life Hospice. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, March 10, 2024 from 2-5 PM at the CSA Lodge in Vining.

Linda was born on September 7, 1961, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Jack and Phyllis (Elsbury) Kelsey.

In 1980, she graduated from Jefferson High School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Linda was involved in her family business "My Mother's Place" at the restaurant in Clutier and a catering business under the same name. She also drove bus for South Tama School District.

Linda enjoyed bargain shopping, cooking and listening to live music. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Survivors include two sons, Jacob Zopf of Beaver, WA and Derek Steffens of Cedar Rapids; one granddaughter, Kierstin Martin; one grandson, Vincent Branan; three sisters, Denise Kelsey of Cedar Rapids, Ronda (Mike) Pokorny of Elberon and Rochelle Kelsey of Clutier; her step-mother, Wende Kelsey of Cedar Rapids; two nieces, Kelsey and DaLynn Pokorny; and two nephews, Hunter and Tyler Caraccio.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her step-father, Gary Benda; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
