MARSHALLTOWN –Lindsay Raye Roberts Harrell, 26, of Marshalltown passed away, Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Traditional graveside services will be held on Friday, August 31, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Meskwaki Cemetery on the Meskwaki Settlement in rural Tama with Homer Bear Jr. as speaker. A traditional wake will be held Thursday evening at the Bear Clan Ceremonial building on the Meskwaki Settlement, rural Tama. Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home, Tama-Toledo is assisting with the arrangements.
Lindsay was born on June 8, 1986 in Marshalltown the daughter of Karalynn Watson and Norwood Roberts Sr. She graduated from East Marshall High School in 2004. She married Justin Harrell in 2007.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Karalynn Watson and Norwood Roberts Sr.; brother, Jason Roberts; and paternal grandmother, Elizabeth F. Roberts.
Survivors include her husband, Justin Harrell of Marshalltown; two sons, Jayden Harrell and Jorden Harrell both of Marshalltown; three sisters, Michele Renee (Dale Harris) Roberts of Marshalltown, Novalynn Roberts of Needles, CA, and Lisbeth Roberts of Tama; three brothers, Jeremy Ian Roberts of Marshalltown, Brad Hall of Tama, and Norwood Roberts Jr. of Denver, CO; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
