Lisa Maria Bingham, 47, of Montour, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, April 15, 2013 at 10:30 AM at St. Henry Catholic Church in Marshalltown with Father Don Czapla as celebrant. Interment will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Montour. Visitation will be held Sunday, April 14, 2013 from 5 – 8 PM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama with a Vigil Service at 7:30 PM.
Lisa was born on June 7, 1965, in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of Bernard and Maudine (Corrigan) Tearney, and was raised in Guthrie Center, Iowa.
She graduated with the Class of 1983 from Guthrie Center High School.
On May 4, 1991, she was united in marriage to Jack Bingham in Payton, Iowa. Lisa was a Teacher's Aide for the East Marshall School District. She was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church in Marshalltown. Her joy in life was spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her grandparents; and parents.
Survivors include her husband, Jack of Montour, six children, Todd (Tiffany) Bingham of Duncombe, Kristi (Ben) Elmore of Callender, Eric Bingham of Montour, Jacob Bingham of Garwin, Adam Bingham of Montour, and Trevor Bingham of Montour; three grandchildren, Cole, Wyatt, and Ty Bingham; her siblings, Regina (John) Olmstead of Mitchellville, Mike (Angie) Tearney of Gowrie, and Rosanne Tearney of Guthrie Center; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial fund has been established.
