Logan Levi Kurth, 19, of Tama, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2025 at UnityPoint Health-Marshalltown. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, July 10, 2025 at 6:00 PM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama with Pastor Steve Brant officiating. Memorial Visitation will be held prior to the service on Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 4-6 PM at the funeral home.

Logan was born on March 21, 2006, in Marshalltown, Iowa, the son of Dillon Kurth and Megan Hughes Mosher.

Logan graduated from South Tama High School in 2024. He played baseball and football as a youth.

Logan was currently working at Restonic Mattress Factory in Toledo. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, camping and anything outdoors. He loved his music and making videos of his fun antics, but his greatest love was his family and friends. Logan gave the best hugs. The only thing he was afraid of was his sister, Rylee. He loved to joke with his siblings. Logan touched a lot of hearts in his short life and his larger-than-life personality will be remembered by many.

Survivors include his parents, Megan (Pat) Thiessen, and Dillon (Macayla) Kurth; grandparents, Sue Hughes, Craig and Marcia Mosher, James and Letha Kurth, and Mike and Kathy Thiessen; siblings, Rylee, Hailey, Kayson, Colton, and Leighton; cousins, Sam, Elias, Atticus, Jonny, Roman, Hugo, Arlo, Kona, Mila, Brayden, Tatum, and Kirsten; aunts and uncles, Jeff (Jess), Joe (Vanessa), Sara (Raoul), Eric (Yana), Ceara, Jerica, Kirah, and James.

Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation.
