TOLEDO-Lottie Louise (Ramsdell) Giger, age 80, of Villa Park, IL, formerly of Toledo, died Saturday, June 26, 2010 at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, IL. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama with Chaplain Greg Boyle officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in rural Toledo. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 29 from 6 to 8 PM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama.
Lottie was born on August 4, 1929 in Tama, Iowa, the daughter of Sidney and Louise (Turbett) Ramsdell. She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. Lottie also enjoyed walking. She was devoted to her children and grandchildren. Lottie enjoyed the company of her friends and dogs and cats.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband Willard in 1992.
Survivors include three children, Randy (Nancy) Moore of Woodridge, IL, Sandy Moore of Aurora, IL, and Sondra Anne Fitzgibbon of Tama; four grandchildren, Rachel and Rebecca Moore, and George J. and Sarah A. Fitzgibbon; and one sister, Lilyanna Kucera of Tama.
A memorial fund has been established.
