Louise Carol Purvis, 87, of Tama, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at Sunny Hill Care Center in Tama. There will be no public services.

Louise was born on May 23, 1931, in Scotland County, Missouri, the daughter of Jessie Cleo and Ruby (Burrus) Purvis.

Louise enjoyed helping at the Tama County Development Center.

Survivors include a sister-in-law, Nancy Purvis of Lake St. Louis, MO; two nieces, Tammy (Joe) Brown of Lake St. Louis, MO, and Teresa (Jeff) Harrison of Clark, CO; four great-nieces, Kelsey Brown, Courtney Inman, Siera and Kenna Harrison; and one great-nephew, Tyler Brown.

Preceding her in death were her parents; one sister, Linda Purvis; and one brother, Leonard Purvis.
