Marjorie Dorothea Ferris, 94, of Toledo passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at Sunny Hill Care Center in Tama. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 19, 2013 at 10:30 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Tama with Father Michael Mescher as celebrant. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Toledo. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 19 from 9 AM until time of Mass at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Tama.

Marjorie was born on March 13, 1919 in Chelsea, the daughter of John and Caroline (Musel) Prusha. She graduated from Chelsea High School. Marjorie was united in marriage to Ronald Milton Ferris on November 28, 1940 at the St. Joseph's Rectory in Chelsea. She was a homemaker. Marjorie was a member of the Toledo American Legion Auxiliary, St. Patrick Catholic Church in Tama, and the CCW.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Ronald in 1977; and siblings, Wesley Prusha, Lillian Prusha, and Dolores Baker.
Survivors include three sons, Ronald John (Linda) Ferris of Maryville, MO, William Ward (Carol) Ferris of Cedar Falls, and Daniel Joseph (Michele) Ferris of Toledo; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to St. Patrick Catholic Church in Tama.
