Mary Jane Duggan, 76, of Tama, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at her home due to a sudden illness. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 10:30 AM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama. Interment will follow at the Sheridan Cemetery in rural Malcom. Visitation will be held Monday, June 21, 2021 from 5-7 PM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home.

Mary Jane was born on August 30, 1944, in Marshalltown, Iowa, the daughter of Olin and Evelyn (Wacha) Bidwell.

She graduated from Tama High School.

On January 27, 1963, she was united in marriage to William Henry Duggan at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Tama. Mary Jane was a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.  She loved her flower beds, and going to the Casino to play Bingo and the Slots. When Bill was alive, they enjoyed going to auctions.

Survivors include one daughter, Tiffany Duggan of Tama; one son, William Mark Duggan of Tama; twin grandsons, Matthew and Michael Duggan; one brother, Dale (Dianne) Bidwell of Tama; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, William in 2000; her twin brother, Larry Bidwell; and two sisters, Sharon Graff and Sandra Frahm.

A memorial fund will be established.
