Matthew Elias Sanache, 38, of Tama, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2017. Traditional Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Morgan Cemetery on the Meskwaki Settlement with Michael Keahna as Speaker. A Traditional Wake will be held Tuesday evening at the Fox Clan Ceremonial Building on the Meskwaki Settlement in rural Tama.

Matthew was born on February 11, 1979, in Marshalltown, IA, the son of Marlene Morgan and Alvin Sanache.

Matt attended South Tama High School and had formerly worked at JBS Swift & Company in Marshalltown.

Matt was a loving man. He was very funny and always laughing. He loved his kids and was a proud grandpa. Matt loved his nieces and nephews and his Mother very much. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends.

Survivors include his parents, Marlene Morgan and Alvin Sanache; four children, Myra, Jada, Eva and Devin; two grandsons, Theolonious and Takoda Lamere; three brothers, Michael, Gerald and Marland Sanache; and one sister, Marilee Sanache; many nieces and nephews and many, many cousins.

Preceding him in death were his Maternal grandparents, Gailey and Clara Morgan; Paternal grandparents, George Sanache Jr. and Flora Jefferson; a brother George Sanache; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
