Michael F. Cooper, 70, of Toledo, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at Southridge Specialty Care in Marshalltown under the care of Initiatives Hospice. It was his wish to be cremated and there will be no public services.

Michael was born on November 14, 1952, in California.

Michael worked in construction. His hobbies included woodworking and working on cars. He loved his Akita dogs over the years and watching Sci Fi movies.

Survivors include his two daughters, Kelly (Joe) Purk of Tama and Charee (Alex) Fleetwood of Kansas; grandchildren, Kaitlynn, Laezlow and Aiden Waseskuk; great-grandchildren, Jason, Katherine and Skyla; his mother, Lona Walsh of Alpine, CA; five brothers; one sister; and his former wife and lifelong friend, Patricia Cooper of Toledo.
