Michael Ralph Foster, 56, of Toledo, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2023 at his home under the care his family and UnityPoint Hospice. Per his wishes, he was cremated and there will be no public services.

Michael was born on October 24, 1966, in Bad Axe, Michigan, the son of Robert M. and Carolyn R. (Sharp) Foster.

He graduated from Tipton High School in Tipton, IN and then attended Suomi College in Hancock, MI.

On September 27, 2019, he married Betty Deloske in Tama.

Michael worked for JMS Trucking in Cedar Rapids and prior to that in Omaha, NE. He retired in 2017. Michael loved to play the piano and write poetry. He had a strong personality and also had a great sense of humor. Michael's greatest joy was spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Sparano of Toledo; four daughters, Amber (Matt) Grassinger of Kingsford, MI, April (Eric) Dube of Hubbell, MI, Autumn (James) Manier of Ishpeming, MI and Abbie (Adam) Shamion of Lake Linden, MI; thirteen grandchildren; one stepson, Joe Sparano of Tacoma, WA; siblings, Robert "Bobby" (Krista) Foster II of Landsdale, PA, Jon Foster of Royersford, PA, Anne (David) Coleman of Bethlehem, PA and Patrick (Jeff) Foster of Wichita, KS; step-brother, John "Jackie" Knowles Jr of PA; several nieces and nephews; and his dog, Frank.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Robert Foster and Carolyn Knowles; one granddaughter; step-father, John Knowles Sr; step-brother, Stephen Knowles; and his dog, Elvis.
