Obituary

Patricia Sue Miller, 79, of Tama passed away August 2, 2014 at the Pella Regional Health Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, August 7, 2014 at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Tama with Father Michael Mescher as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Tama. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 from 5-8 PM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama.

Patricia was born on February 7, 1935, in Manchester, New Hampshire, the daughter of Elwyn and Mae (Glod) Eldridge.
On May 1, 1953, she was united in marriage to Earl J. Miller in Manchester, New Hampshire. Patricia was a homemaker and also was a care taker for many local people. She also was previously employed at King Tower in Tama. Patricia was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Tama and the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed going to the Big T Maid-Rite for a donut and coffee every morning. Patricia loved flowers, nature, animals and playing pepper with her friends. She also liked music and ballroom dancing. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Survivors include her children, Tammy Miller Reynolds of Myrtle Beach, SC, Lori (Dale) Naumburg of Cridersville, OH, Earl J.K. (Jodi) Miller of Reasnor, Glenn Miller of Coral Springs, FL, Amy, Dana (Frank) Seltzner of Deerfield, WI and Joel (Blanca) Miller of Coral Springs, FL; twenty grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; her siblings, Priscilla (Murray) Brayson of Enfield, CT, Gloria (Jim) Miller of Yuma, AZ and Jake Sezemla of Prescott, AZ; a special friend, Frank Fetter of Toledo; three sisters-in-law, Delores Rohach of Tama, Jean Miller of Cedar Rapids and Mary Jean Posusta of Cedar Rapids; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Earl J.; and two daughters, Susan and Angela in infancy.
A memorial fund has been established.
