Patricia Louise Packer, 65, of Tama, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at Accura Healthcare of Toledo under the care of St. Croix Hospice. A Public Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Maple Hill Cemetery in Montour.

Patricia was born on November 19, 1960, in Summerville, South Carolina, the daughter of James H. and Thelma (Dutton) Packer.

She graduated from South Tama High School in 1979, and then attended Marshalltown Community College for her nursing degree. Patricia worked in several nursing homes in the Marshalltown area. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her brother, James “Jay” Packer of Tipton; sister-in-law, Marlene Packer of Chelsea; nephews, Joseph Bramon, C.J. Bramon, and Ben (Cheyanne) Packer; nieces, Stephanie Bramon, and Sarah Packer; great nephews, Andrew Bramon, and Oliver Packer; great nieces, Topanga Packer, and Lola Packer.

Preceding her in death were her parents; sister, Robin Gruchow; nephew, T.J. Packer; and niece, Jessica Bramon.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
