TAMA-Paul Sheryl Steuhm, age 61, of Tama, died on March 31, 2006, in Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines due to a short illness. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday April 4, 2006 at 10:30 AM at the Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in rural Tama. Visitation will be Monday, April 3, 2006 from 4-7 PM at the Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama.
Paul Sheryl Steuhm was born on November 28, 1944, in Tama, Iowa, the son of Paul Joseph and Tillie Sylvia Vojtech Steuhm. He was employed at Sand Hill Salvage for thirty-five years. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Paul enjoyed model cars, rebuilding cars, and especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Michael Steuhm.
Survivors include two sons, Scott (Karen) Steuhm of Tama and Brett Steuhm of Tama; two daughters, Kellie (Richard) Phillips of Pella and Kendra Steuhm of Sully; one brother, Stan Steuhm of Marshalltown; four grandchildren, Scotty, Kylynn, Kade and Skyler Steuhm; and a special friend, Regina Sieck.
A memorial fund has been established.
