Paul M. Tague, 76, of Tama, died Friday, March 3, 2017 at Sunny Hill Care Center after an extended illness. There will be no visitation or services, per his wishes.
Paul was born on Sept. 2, 1940 in Belle Plaine, Iowa, the son of Joe and Leona Tague. He graduated from Belle Plaine High School before joining the U.S. Navy. After his military service he lived and worked in southern California until his retirement in 1998, when he and his brother, Tom, returned to Iowa.
He is survived by his children Theresa and Joey Tague of California, his sister Nancy Boies of Keystone, special friends Mary and Jim Pashby of Tama, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings; Joan McAlpine, Kathleen Clark, Donald Tague, Mary Ann Parlette, Margaret Ferguson and Tom Tague.
