River Joseph Novak, infant son of John and Rebecca Novak of Toledo, was born and became God's new angel on June 23, 2016 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Private Graveside Services were held on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Toledo.




Survivors include his parents, John and Rebecca Novak of Toledo; his twin, Samuel James and brother Remington John; his grandparents, Richard and Diane Novak of Tama and James and Carolyn Clinton of Toledo; great grandparents, Ed and Mary Ann Upah of Tama and Bertha Reifenstahl of Cedar Rapids; uncles and aunts, Rich (Kate) Novak of Bloomington, IL, Emily (Jason) Babinat of Tama, Chrissy (Shane) Ecklor of Marshalltown, Amy (Chris) Nachazel of Tama, Jim (Tricia) Clinton of Chicago, Alysia Clinton (Ken Hawkins) of Toledo, Matt Clinton of Brooklyn and Amanda Clinton (Chris Wanatee) of Toledo; and several other aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandparents, Russell and Helen Novak and maternal great-grandparents, Frank Dvorak, Erwin Sr. and Ruth Clinton.
