Rodney Paul Keraghan, 19, of Toledo, died Sunday, June 25, 2017 due to an accidental drowning. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, June 29, 2017 at 10:30 AM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama with Dave Gray officiating. Interment will follow at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Tama. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 28, 2017 from 4-7 PM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home.

Rodney was born on July 2, 1997 in Cheyenne, Wyoming, the son of Robert and Georgia (Kapayou) Keraghan Sr.

Rodney graduated from South Tama High School in 2015. He worked in maintenance at Iowa Premium in Tama. Rodney liked hanging out with his friends and spending time with his family. He was an avid Coca-Cola memorabilia collector and loved adding to his Christmas Village collection every year.

Survivors include his mother, Georgia Keraghan of Toledo; his aunts, Shelley Kapayou, Jeanette Youngbear, and Laureen Puentes; his uncles, Jim Youngbear, Stanford Kapayou, Steven Kapayou, Adam "Duke" Kapayou, and Keith Mitchell; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert C. Keraghan Sr. in 2007; his grandparents; and several aunts and uncles.
